Summer Loving….
Hello, hello, hope you’re all loving the positively mediterranean weather we’ve been having of late! Hopefully it’ll last into the holidays which for many people are about to kick off.
Been a hectic few days at the shop with a flurry of deliveries just in time for the holidays. Some ever popular favourites are back in stock in the form of Dandy and Paper Plane (phew!) and some new ranges too….
First up (because it’s my favourite new addition) is the Beatles tickets line, I just love the retro look of these, they’re in a similar style to Paper Plane, but have a less feminine look. Purses, wallets, wash bags and mini satchels….prices from £16.50

Next up, and off at a tangent…Moomins (I remember them as the very slightly spooky stop-frame animation, these are based on the original illustrations of Tove Jansson)…cute as, Toffle, Litttle My and company. Purses, wash bag, make up bag…prices from £15.

Summer Flowers.
I hope you’re all feeling suitably summery with the lovely weather…..tea parties, Summer weddings, strawberries & cream, Pimms on the lawn and all that…..sorry, distracted there….anyway, I thought I’d share a few of the new bits that have arrived in store recently
First up, we have ladies’ leather purses. Small enough to fit in a clutch, decorated with romantic vintage style images and embossed lettering. See below…£15 each.

Next up, Pretty City. Leather purse, pass holder and make up bag with bold London prints…..very patriotic. See below….prices from £11.50.

And finally for the boys (or the girls that, like me, prefer a wallet) a nice pile of Golunski leather, including some great new designs…. See left….priced at £15 & £18.
Romance…& One For The Boys..
Two new ranges arrived in store this week. The romantic “Affirmations” range of poetry inscribed silver, and the chunky “Steam” range for men, in steel and silver….see below for taster images….compare and contrast my lovelies.

More New Shiny, Shiny Things..

Some beautiful new pieces from SilverSeaShells arrived this morning. I’ve selected some slightly larger pendants than usual this time, so we have an even wider range to choose from.
Bags from Paul Frank industries are now in too. Featuring Julius the monkey on purses and cross body messenger bays……
…..and ten new titles are in stock in the Old School badges range!
*STOP PRESS*
The (yes, THE) dandy purse is finally back in stock now….those on waiting list will get a call asap!
…………..and the first smaller pieces from The Keepsake Collection have landed too, see below.

Hello!
No the cat didn’t get my tongue….
So, what’s new…..well the shop is now filled with enough lovely, light Indian scarves to keep even Steven Tyler happy (Google him if you’re too young to remember Aerosmith) They’re in loads of colours and starting at £3 they’re a steal. Ideal to pop in a pocket to whip out as the air cools on a Summer evening. Arriving with them was a big bundle of happy skelly scarves too, so satisfy your inner pirate….or your secret gothic side.
Due to land next week are a fresh batch of SilverSeaShells….and the first few pieces of a range called the Keepsake Collection (see below) I’ll let you know when they land…

Not all of it, but a big box of it has arrived. More details and pictures to follow, here’s a teaser (prices £5 to £12)
The Hare & The Hen opens at Deepdale
The Hare & The Hen opens today at Dalegate Market.
It’s the new home for the pottery studio and craft shop of Philippa lee, who I’ve worked next door to for the last 16 years (the poor gal, must be for her sins)
The shop offers a feast of pots, ceramics, textiles, art, photography, metalware, baskets, glass, natural history books and the odd surprise.
I’m coveting the gorgeous Karen Atherley mugs at the moment, and Phil’s dishes for fish(es) are fab……but if I make one more joke about jugs…..I think she’ll slap me.

New Shiny, Shiny….
Update time…..deep breath….
Silverservice is all in stock now….wings, skulls, keys, cute hummingbirds….the lot.

hiny, shiny things)
……….the Helen Rochfort bags landed safely and are gracing a new window display.
…….and finally, bunches and bunches of flowers have arrived in the form of a Shrieking Violet shipment. Have gone more colourful this time (well it is Spring…ish) following the huge popularity of the existing range, by expanding into mixed species pieces….and heart shaped too, how cute……love, love, love it.
